GUY JOHNSON

 Guy has been a professional singer/songwriter musician for over 30 years. He moved down to Somerset from Purley in Surrey 26 years ago and has been playing in venues all over the South of England and Europe since then. Guy is an out and out singer songwriter, he has had six of his songs recorded by other artists including a top twenty hit for Status Quo and a single released by Francis Rossi in 2010 called "One Step At A Time" which was the title track of Francis album. He continues to write and play and is presently working on his third album.

In 2004 Guy brought out his first CD called “Keep On Watching.” It features ten of Guy’s songs including “Here I Go,” which was written with Francis Rossi and another written with Grammy Award winning writer, Roger Cook called “Each Time You Smile.” All the songs on the CD have a “watching” or “looking at” theme in the lyric. Francis Rossi recorded his version of "Here I Go" which is featured on his solo album called "One Step At A Time" which was released in 2010.

 In 2009 Guy released his second album called Cat With A Spider. It features 12 self penned songs and 2 co- written songs with Guy and Roger Cook ( Just For Now ) and Guy and Francis Rossi ( It Isn't Quite What It Seems ). 

In 2010 Francis Rossi released his solo album called One Step At A Time which contained two songs co-written with Guy. They were the title track and a song called Here I Go. One Step At A Time was released as the second single and was on the Radio Two playlist for four weeks in the Summer of 2010. 

Guy is a highly polised performer with many concerts under his belt. Guy has toured over in Europe and particularly Norway. Guy's own brand of origional songs plus covers make him extremely popular particularly in an "Audience with Sinario". Like all our act you will have a quality night with this great performer.
